Promotion Test Requirements

For students who are white belt, yellow belt, yellow-green belt or green belt, student must have attended at least 12 lessons or more to promote to the next belt.

For students who are green-blue belt, blue belt, blue-red belt and red belt, student must have attended at least 20 lessons or more to promote to the next belt.

For students who are red-black belt, student must have attended at least 30 lessons in four months or more to promote to black belt.
*Pre-test must be taken before taking the black belt promotion test.

Black Belt 1st Dan to 2nd Dan
    -    One must have at least 120 credits within 2 years, or 1-1/2 year for all PAI, AI and competitors
    -    Pre-test must be taken before taking the black belt 2nd Dan promotion test.

Black Belt 2nd Dan to 3rd Dan
    -    One must have at least 150 credits within 3 years, or 2-1/2 year for all PAI, AI and competitors
    -    Pre-test must be taken before taking the black belt 3rd Dan promotion test.

Black Belt 3rd Dan to 4th Dan
    -    One must have at least 200 credits within 4 years, or 3-1/2 year for all PAI, AI and competitors
    -    Pre-test must be taken before taking the black belt 4th Dan promotion test.
